Facilities Specialist

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Learn and perform new duties with minimal guidance

Assist with projects and respond to emergent repairs.

Perform routine and non-routine duties independently

Diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions

Keep abreast of current developments and trends in professional area

Understand technical knowledge or skills not easily or quickly learned on the job

Use power tools to complete tasks and projects

Complete and/or assist with basic to mediocre carpentry projects

Maintain inventory of supplies

Maintain outside grounds

Give general assistance to supervisor

Assist with processes related to recycling and general trash removal

Effectively us Maintenance Connection for work orders

Communicates effectively with client staff members

Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Performs other duties as assigned

Work independently

Handle multiple priorities;

Communicate effectively,

Reason and solve problems;

Verify and approve work of self and others;

Strong math skills

High school diploma

Minimum of one year of experience in general maintenance

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
