About the job The Clinical Training Specialist Europe delivers hands-on training on the DEXTER Robotic Surgical System to surgical teams across European healthcare institutions. The role covers internal training delivery, onboarding and certification of new Clinical Sales Specialists, training centre management, and ongoing stakeholder engagement, ensuring consistent, high-quality training and DEXTER case support across diverse European markets. Duties And Responsibilities Customer Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions for medical personnel across European healthcare institutions. Deliver training using various modalities (simulator, drylabs and onsite training, as well as wetlabs in porcine/cadaveric models.) Documentation and reporting of training activities, attendance, and performance assessments in compliance with applicable European regulatory standards. Internal Training and Certification: Deliver internal training programmes to onboard and certify new internal stakeholders and ensure readiness for customer-facing roles. Training Centre Management Manage European training centre communication and bookings. Monitor training equipment and stock management. Maintaining Training Infrastructure Plan and execute refresher training programmes to ensure updated stakeholders' knowledge and skills. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand training requirements. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement with internal and external stakeholder.
Onsite Position - Epalinges, Vaud, Switzerland Clinical/technical background relevant to surgical training (e.g., surgical technology, biomedical engineering, or related field) Experience in clinical training, medical device support, or OR-based roles; robotic or minimally invasive surgery experience is a plus Working knowledge of MDR 2017/745 requirements as applicable to clinical training and documentation activities Fluency in English, as well as either French or German is a must (Italian is a plus) Willingness and ability to travel across Europe to deliver training in training centres and customer sites Current, unrestricted right to work within the European Union Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and institutional environments Working conditions Ability to travel to customer sites, training centres, and internal meetings across European territories Exposure to wet lab, dry lab, and live OR environments; use of standard OR/lab personal protective equipment as required
