Information Security Engineer

2-5 years of experience in information security or systems administration roles Experience engineering secure cloud architectures, identity solutions, and/or threat detection platforms. Deep understanding of modern authentication protocols like SAML, OIDC, and OAuth. Hands-on experience with Next-Gen Firewalls, DLP enforcement, Vulnerability Management, XDR, CloudSec, IAM, and/or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools. Strong analytical skills to dissect complex security anomalies and engineering failures. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical engineering experience. Proven work experience as an Information Security Specialist, Security Administrator, Identity and Access Management Analyst, Junior Security Consultant or similar role Understanding of security risk scenarios including threats and vulnerabilities Experience with defining and enforcing security best practices in a corporate environment Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university in in computer science, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical engineering experience. 2+ years of information security or systems administration roles. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, Security+ preferred. Salary Range Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $105,000-$120,000 Full-Time annual salary
