the ground over sitting behind a desk—this is your kind of role. As a Rail Inspector with
Eurofins Grain Inspection, you’ll be the frontline force ensuring grain quality and safety
across the supply chain. You’ll travel throughout eastern Indiana and west-central Ohio to
inspect, test, and certify grain shipments that feed the world.

What You’ll Do
Travel to offsite locations to inspect and grade grain samples (corn, soybeans,
wheat, and more)
Perform moisture, weight, damage, and mycotoxin testing using visual and
computerized methods
Operate and maintain mobile lab equipment for onsite testing
Accurately report results and issue inspection certificates to clients
Communicate with operations and client facilities to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain sampling tools and follow safety protocols
Train and mentor new inspectors as needed
Adapt to changing schedules, short-notice assignments, and occasional overnight
What You Bring
High school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience (or equivalent)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Willingness to work in outdoor, dusty environments with moderate noise
Physical ability to lift up to 15 lbs and operate mobile testing equipment
Mandatory Driving Qualifications
Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience
Clean driving record within the last three years
Motor vehicle report (MVR) required as part of the hiring process
Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain up-to-date auto insurance
