In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports the growth and learning of children ages 3mo. – 36 mo. Key Responsibilities<ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Supervise infants and toddlers while ensuring compliance with childcare licensing and safety standards.</li><li>Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to design, evaluate, and enhance curriculum, routines, and learning environments.</li><li>Build positive relationships with families through regular communication, conferences, and developmental updates.</li><li>Create a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom that celebrates cultural diversity and fosters trust.</li><li>Participate in professional development, training, and staff meetings to uphold best practices in early childhood education. </li></ul> Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Minimum of 12 core semester units in Early Childhood Education plus 3 units in Infant/Toddler studies.</li><li>Knowledge of California Infant/Toddler Learning & Development Foundations, Curriculum Framework, and Title 22 regulations preferred.</li><li>Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting.</li><li>Eligible for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Child Development Program Associate Teacher Permit, or higher.</li></ul> Preferred The following skills and attributes are preferred: <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.</li><li>Current Child First Aid and CPR/AED certification.</li></ul> Benefits <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: #212121;">Competitive compensation range: $22 - $29 / hour(California).</li><li style="color: #212121;">Comprehensive benefits package.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Training and mentorship opportunities.</li><li style="color: #212121;">On-campus wellness activities.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Education reimbursement program.</li><li style="color: #212121;">401(k) program with discretionary employer match.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule.</li></ul>Please note that the compensation range may be adjusted in the future, and bonus and incentive compensation plans may apply.
