Position Description The Associate Learning Facilitator plays a key role in developing Applied Medical’s production team members through instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training experiences. This position supports supply chain and manufacturing operations by delivering interactive learning sessions and contributing to the development and improvement of training programs. The Facilitator is responsible for preparing and facilitating structured sessions, building an understanding of production operations, and independent facilitation of workshops.

Success in this role requires strong foundational facilitation skills, the ability to adapt in real time, and the capability to quickly build confidence and deliver sessions independently. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Facilitate instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training sessions on topics such as communication, conflict resolution, process improvement, SAP, and output goal setting.</li><li>Lead structured learning activities by guiding discussions, supporting debriefs, and encouraging participant engagement.</li><li>Progress toward independently facilitating sessions, including responding to participant questions and managing group dynamics.</li><li>Translate training content into practical application for production team members.</li><li>Engage on the production floor to learn workflows, challenges, and team dynamics, enhancing training relevance.</li><li>Collaborate with Applied Learning team members and cross-functional partners to support training development and delivery.</li><li>Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining training materials, including presentations, participant resources, and supporting documentation.</li><li>Apply basic adult learning principles when preparing for and delivering training sessions.</li><li>Gather participant feedback and share insights to support continuous improvement of training programs.</li><li>Support the coordination and execution of training initiatives and project deliverables, including scheduling, preparation, and logistical readiness for sessions.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and participant feedback.</li><li>Become familiar with how to evaluate performance.</li></ul>Success in This Role Looks Like<ul><li>Delivers structured, well-prepared sessions that encourage participation and discussion.</li><li>Builds the ability to independently facilitate sessions within a reasonable ramp period.</li><li>Demonstrates growing confidence in guiding discussions, answering participant questions, and adapting delivery.</li><li>Establishes credibility with production teams through consistent engagement and understanding of operations.</li><li>Contributes to training programs by supporting preparation, delivery, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Demonstrates reliability in supporting training initiatives and meeting project timelines.</li><li>Shows continuous growth in facilitation skills, content knowledge, and business understanding.</li></ul> Position Requirements This Position Requires the Following Skills and Attributes<ul><li>Ability to spend significant time in a production environment and build familiarity with processes, terminology, and team dynamics</li><li>Adherence to production floor gowning requirements</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Demonstrated interest or experience in facilitation, teaching, or leading group discussions</li><li>Ability to engage participants and support interactive discussions</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and improve facilitation skills rapidly</li><li>Comfort speaking in front of groups with preparation and support</li><li>Ability to progress toward independently facilitating sessions</li></ul> Preferred The Following Skills and Attributes Are Preferred<ul><li>Prior experience facilitating training, leading group discussions, or presenting to an audience</li><li>Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment</li><li>Exposure to adult learning principles or instructional design concepts</li><li>Experience supporting projects or coordinating tasks within a team environment</li><li>Familiarity with SAP or other production-related systems</li><li>Exposure to continuous improvement approaches such as Lean or Six Sigma</li></ul> Benefits <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: #212121;">Competitive compensation range: $75000 - $80000 / year (California).</li><li style="color: #212121;">Comprehensive benefits package.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Training and mentorship opportunities.</li><li style="color: #212121;">On-campus wellness activities.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Education reimbursement program.</li><li style="color: #212121;">401(k) program with discretionary employer match.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule.</li></ul>Please note that the compensation range may be adjusted in the future, and bonus and incentive compensation plans may apply.
