Position Description Are you detail-oriented with a passion for maintaining the highest standards of quality in manufacturing? Join Applied Medical as a Quality Control Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the excellence of our raw materials, components, and finished products.

As part of our Quality Assurance team, you'll utilize precision measurement tools, review engineering documentation, and uphold strict compliance with industry standards.<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Conduct thorough inspection activities, including receiving, in-process, and final product verification.</li><li>Assess raw materials, components, subassemblies, and finished products for adherence to standards, guidelines, and specifications outlined in company procedures.</li><li>Interpret engineering drawings, shop order operations, and process controls to ensure accuracy in production.</li><li>Inspect products and materials following standard operating procedures and work instructions.</li><li>Utilize technical measuring devices to confirm product conformance to defined specifications.</li><li>Document and report nonconforming materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping.</li><li>Maintain detailed inspection results using data management software.</li></ul> Position Requirements <ul><li>2+ years of experience working within quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or 21 CFR Part 820).</li><li>Ability to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.</li><li>Understanding and adherence to Applied Medical’s Quality Systems and training guidelines.</li><li>Compliance with safety rules and company policies.</li></ul> Preferred <ul><li>Hands-on manufacturing experience, particularly within the medical device industry.</li></ul> Benefits <ul><li>Competitive compensation range: $18 - 23 / hour (California).</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package.</li><li>Training and mentorship opportunities.</li><li>On-campus wellness activities.</li><li>Education reimbursement program.</li><li>401(k) program with discretionary employer match.</li><li>Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule.</li></ul> Please note that the compensation range may be adjusted in the future, and bonus and incentive compensation plans may apply.
