The role is responsible for inspecting, testing, and documenting materials and components throughout the manufacturing process to ensure product integrity and compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.
The Quality Inspector supports quality control activities, contributes to continuous improvement efforts, and helps maintain Applied Medical’s rigorous expectations for medical device manufacturing and quality assurance.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform First Article and Final inspections using measuring tools and equipment such as pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, rulers, optical comparators, and Keyence systems.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain compliance with Applied Medical’s Quality Systems, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and company policies.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Review Medical History Record documentation for accuracy, traceability, and adherence to good documentation practices.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Document inspection activities, receiving information, quarantine actions, Technically Complete steps, material release, and scrap decisions within the Enterprise Resource Planning system.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and regulatory teams, to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Support training and knowledge sharing by assisting production team members in understanding inspection techniques, quality standards, and regulatory expectations.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identify quality trends, nonconformances, and process improvement opportunities to support ongoing enhancement of medical device quality.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;
