This role contributes directly to product reliability and patient safety by assembling, inspecting, and preparing components used in devices used for surgical solutions.

The Production Associate works collaboratively within a cleanroom or production environment to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform manufacturing and assembly operations in cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments in accordance with engineering drawings and shop order instructions.</li><li>Inspect, measure, and verify product quality using established test methods and visual inspection standards.</li><li>Operate production equipment and tools safely and effectively to meet daily production and quality goals.</li><li>Follow Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS), including standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturing instructions (MIs), and quality instructions (QIs).</li><li>Maintain adherence to all safety and company policies while contributing to a clean and organized workspace.</li><li>Collaborate with production team members and leadership to identify process improvements and resolve manufacturing challenges.</li><li>Document work accurately and report any nonconformances or potential process issues to area leadership.</li><li>Support continuous improvement by participating in team discussions and contributing to process refinement.</li></ul>Success in This Role Looks Like<ul><li>Consistently producing high-quality products that meet or exceed quality and safety standards.</li><li>Demonstrating precision, consistency, and accountability in all assembly and inspection tasks.</li><li>Maintaining strong teamwork and communication across shifts and departments.</li><li>Meeting or surpassing production targets while upholding Applied Medical’s quality standards.</li><li>Proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality.</li></ul> Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes:<ul><li>Demonstrated adaptability to shifting business priorities and changing production needs</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail, particularly when working with small components.</li><li>Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and documentation.</li><li>Comfort working with chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol and materials including plastic and rubber.</li><li>Commitment to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gowns, masks, and gloves as required in cleanroom environments.</li><li>Flexibility to work full-time schedules with occasional overtime as production demands require.</li><li>Dependability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to learning and quality improvement.</li></ul> Preferred The following skills and attributes are preferred:<ul><li>Prior experience in medical device manufacturing, assembly, or cleanroom operations.</li><li>Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection tools.</li><li>Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement practices.</li><li>Demonstrated reliability and consistency in meeting production goals.</li></ul> Benefits <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: #212121;">Competitive compensation range: $18 - $18.50 / hour (California).</li><li style="color: #212121;">Comprehensive benefits package.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Training and mentorship opportunities.</li><li style="color: #212121;">On-campus wellness activities.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Education reimbursement program.</li><li style="color: #212121;">401(k) program with discretionary employer match.</li><li style="color: #212121;">Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule.</li></ul>Please note that the compensation range may be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, experience.
