This position allows you to travel and meet new people while at the same time working on world class specialty gas and chemical deliveries systems, manufactured in our corporate factories. As a Field Service Technician, you will be working at customer locations across the U.S. and possibly some international locations. Basic job duties include installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of GasGuard, ChemGuard, and Poly Flow delivery systems and associated support systems including Pumps, distribution piping, and exhaust systems. Responsibilities include:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Preform pre-task planning and equipment condition analysis prior to starting any work</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Empowered to Stop the Job and escalate</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Responsible for completion of customer requested tasks</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Audit equipment and maintenance areas according to quality and safety standards</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Ensure processes and procedures are followed</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Report quality and safety issues immediately via the escalation process</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Takes ownership of NCE events and the RMA process to address equipment concerns in a timely manner</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Complete all Field documentation accurately and submit for invoicing at the completion of the task</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Provide solutions to the customer for equipment configuration, maintenance, and operation</li></ul> Physical Attributes:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">80% of walking throughout the facility (5-6 miles per day)</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection)</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Bending of the knees and overhead reaching</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Able to recognize and respond to safety alarms</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Be capable of traveling 85% of the time</li></ul> Military Veterans: EMD Electronics is a military friendly employer that values the skills obtained through military teamwork.

Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">High School Diploma or GED</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">1+ years' experience as a Megasys Technician Level III or other Industrial / Semiconductor experience</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">1+ years' experience with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) </li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Valid US Passport</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Valid Driver’s License with no infractions over the past 36 months</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Computer skills</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">5+ years of experience working in or at Semiconductor fabs</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Strong mechanical and electrical skills (including Low voltage and signal wiring (AC/DC))</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Team-focused and collaborative demeanor</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Willing to work alone or with a team</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Reliable and self-motivated</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12.0pt;">Committed to Safe and Quality work environment</li></ul> Pay Range for this position: $30-$50/hourThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position.

The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
