
<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Warehouse Operative with forklift truck experience to join our team in Irvine working on an early & late shift pattern as follows: week 1 07:00 to 15:00, week 2 13:00 - 21:00. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the overall logistics and operation of the warehouse.
You will be responsible for the receipt, processing, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, whilst adhering to strict compliance with all appropriate regulatory standards. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;" type="disc"><li>Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift trucks to safely load, unload and move materials across the warehouse and yard areas.</li><li>Receive, inspect and store incoming chemical goods in compliance with company and regulatory procedures.</li><li>Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and proper labelling in line with customer and compliance requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock checks using warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP).</li><li>Follow all site-specific safety protocols, including the handling and storage of hazardous materials (e.g.
COSHH requirements).</li><li>Ensure all containers are correctly sealed, labelled and stored.</li><li>Support warehouse housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organised and hazard-free working environment.</li><li>Working closely with production to ensure materials are available as scheduled ensuring all deadlines are met.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Must have:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;" type="disc"><li>Previous experience in a warehouse environment.</li><li>Experience operating a Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift truck – refresher courses are available for expired licences.</li><li>A full UK Drivers Licence is essential for the role.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow process-driven tasks accurately.</li><li>Excellent communication and team-working skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;" type="disc"><li>Experience working within a cGMP or regulated environment.</li><li>Familiarity with a computerised stock control system, and prior experience using SAP.</li><li>VNA forklift experience (training can be provided for the correct candidate).</li></ul>
