We are seeking a talented Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician who is interested in joining our mission to transform disease management and create a new standard of care for patients in need of innovative diagnostic testing solutions to help resolve recurrent, difficult-to-treat infections. Pay rate depends on license, qualifications, and experience.
Medical Technologist: $32-$40 per hour + 10% night differential
Medical Lab Technician: $28-$38 per hour + 10% night differential
2 weeks vacation + 1 week of sick time off per year (plus graduated increases with additional years of service)

Active license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
At least 2 years of experience in a CAP/CLIA laboratory is preferred
Knowledge of Microbiology techniques is preferred
A patient-first, mission-oriented mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to work an overnight schedule consistently and reliably
Biological specimen preparation, labeling, preservation or fixation, and processing
Performing moderate to high complexity tests according to established protocols
Assisting in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
Preparation and storage of specimens, reagents, and culture media
Assisting in the performance of quality control procedures
Maintaining/monitoring TAT for all department assays
Adhering to documentation and record-keeping standards
Following the laboratory's Quality Management System
Collaborate with other team members and leadership
Laboratory maintenance activities, including assisting with inventory, biohazardous waste disposal, sterilization of glassware, and maintaining a neat and organized work area
Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands: This position will require extensive use of a computer (mousing, keyboarding) and may involve extended periods of sitting and/or standing, as well as repetitive motions (pipetting) and visual color discrimination.
Safety: Some risk of exposure to chemicals, biological substances, sharps, and/or scientific instruments capable of causing bodily injury if used improperly. We comply with OSHA standards regarding Bloodborne pathogens, Safety Needle Act, Chemical Hygiene Plan in addition to maintaining robust safety & training programs.
