We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist with a strong experimental background in cellular and molecular biology, immunology, and assay development.

The successful candidate will support discovery-stage programs through execution of in vitro experiments, immune cell-based assays, sample preparation, and advanced imaging workflows.The ideal candidate will have a PhD and hands-on laboratory experience in immunology, cell biology, or a related discipline, with an interest in learning and applying microscopy-based approaches to support therapeutic antibody discovery and characterization.ResponsibilitiesDesign, execute, and analyze cellular and immunological assays supporting antibody and multi-specific therapeutic programsPerform mammalian cell culture, immune cell isolation, immune phenotyping, and functional characterization assaysSupport sample preparation and execution of microscopy-based experiments, including fluorescence imaging and other advanced imaging platformsAssist in development, optimization, and troubleshooting of in vitro assays for therapeutic molecule evaluationGenerate, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical and visualization toolsPresent findings at internal team meetings and contribute to scientific discussionsMaintain detailed laboratory records and prepare written summaries of experimental resultsCollaborate closely with scientists across immunology, protein engineering, bioassays, and computational biology teamsContribute to establishment of new experimental methods and workflows as programs evolveOther duties as assignedQualificationsPhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related fieldStrong hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assaysWorking knowledge of immunology and immune cell biologyExperience with fluorescence microscopy, image analysis, or sample preparation for imaging applications is highly desirableExperience with flow cytometry, immune phenotyping, or functional immune assays preferredDemonstrated ability to learn new technologies and experimental techniques quicklyStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative mindset with a positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to researchPossess the right attitude (agile, curious, positive, open-minded, “can-do” mindset), and have the ability and strong desire to “make things happen”Work EnvironmentBench top work in a BSL-2 laboratory environment, including potential exposure to biohazardsAdherence to Health and Safety standards when working with temperature-controlled systems, including liquid and vapor phase liquid nitrogenPhysical DemandsOccasional lifting to 30 poundsRequires repetitive multi-channel pipetting, single channel pipetting, and computer data entryFine motor movements in fingers/hands to operate computers and other office and lab equipment, repetitive motion with lab equipmentStooping, bending, crouching, reaching, or climbing laddersPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkMay need to work outside of standard working hours at timesThis role is currently working onsite and is expected to work onsite for working hours, with flexibility to work start time. The work location for this role is in Redmond, WATravelAttendance and participation in national and international conferences encouragedCompensation and Benefits:The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually.

Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s level qualifications, experience, and skills.While most offers typically fall within thelow to mid-pointof the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise exceeds the requirements of the role.SystImmune is a leading and well-funded biotech company with a bright future.
