Manufacturing Associate Level 1

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate I Location: Portsmouth, NH, (On-site) As a Manufacturing Associate I, you will help produce life-saving therapeutic proteins in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will work as part of a supportive team while building valuable skills in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

This role follows a 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating schedule of alternating days: two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off (repeating cycle). What you will get Competitive pay and performance-based compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance A supportive and inclusive work environment Opportunities for career growth and development Hands-on training and skill-building A dynamic and team-focused workplace What you will do Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment following GMP procedures Set up and support cleaning processes, including CIP and SIP Perform basic lab tasks such as monitoring pH, conductivity, and testing samples Handle and move materials across production areas safely Complete production and documentation records accurately Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces Support team activities, meetings, and continuous improvement efforts What we are looking for Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Basic problem-solving and clear communication skills Ability to follow procedures in a regulated environment Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Comfort working in a hands-on production setting Curiosity with a willingness to learn and understand processes High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
