Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: Tax Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States of America, Raritan, New Jersey, United States of America, Raynham, Massachusetts, United States of America, Warsaw, Indiana, United States of America, West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States of America Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Tax Analyst, located in Raynham, MA or West Chester, PA or Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Warsaw, IN or Raritan, NJ. The Senior Tax Analyst plays a key role in supporting DePuy Synthes’ U.S. and international tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities.

This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and external advisors to ensure accurate tax filings, effective tax controls, and compliance with evolving tax regulations. The position offers meaningful exposure to complex tax matters within a global medical technology organization and provides opportunities to contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and review U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns and related workpapers. Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740, including effective tax rate analysis.

Assist with indirect tax activities (e.g., sales/use, VAT) as applicable and coordinate with internal stakeholders. Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate tax-related journal entries and reconciliations.

Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess potential impacts to the business. Support tax audits and inquiries by gathering documentation and coordinating responses with advisors.

Contribute to tax planning initiatives and continuous improvement of tax processes and controls. Maintain compliance with internal policies, SOX controls, and documentation standards.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field (required). Master’s degree in Taxation or MBA (preferred).

Experience and Skills: Required: 4–6 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a combination of both. Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance and reporting.

Experience supporting income tax provisions under ASC 740. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners. Proficiency with Excel and tax or financial reporting systems.

Preferred: Experience in a multinational or regulated industry environment. Exposure to international tax concepts and transfer pricing.

CPA or progress toward CPA certification. Experience with process improvement or automation initiatives.

Familiarity with SOX controls and audit support. Other: Language requirements: English (required).

Travel: Up to 10%, primarily domestic. Certifications: CPA or equivalent (preferred).
