We’re looking for a motivated Junior IT Networking Professional to join our team and support day-to-day technology operations. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for setting up computers, managing basic network configurations, supporting Microsoft-based systems, and resolving a range of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Junior IT Networker responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for new and existing users
Troubleshoot internet connectivity and application-related issues
Provide first-level support for Windows-based systems and Microsoft applications
Maintain and update IT documentation as needed
Assist in the maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points
Install and update software, apply patches, and perform routine system maintenance
Support users via in-person, phone, or remote assistance
Basic Minimum Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science degree preferred
Optional: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus
Minimum 2+ years of experience in an IT support or networking role (or equivalent education)
Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365
Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Position is full-time working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Norwood, MA are encouraged to apply.
