We are excited to expand to a new location in Lake Mary, FL!

Shift Schedule: Flexible; Tuesday – Saturday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM OR 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

$20 per hour, DOE

2 weeks vacation + 1 week of sick time off per year (plus graduated increases with additional years of service)

At least 2+ years of experience in a maintenance, custodial, or general facility support role

Ability to bend at the waist and knee, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Familiarity with routine repairs (patch/paint/install/troubleshoot and diagnose moderate facility issues)

Ability to use a barcode/handheld scanner and send/respond to emails

Valid Driver's License and good driving record; ability to drive personal vehicle for work on occasion

Routine maintenance and light handyman services

Light housekeeping: dry mopping, assist with spill cleanups, trash/recycling removal, etc.

Stocking breakroom: plates, flatware, coffee, creamer, etc.

Load and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips, opening boxes and scanning

Back up inventory duties such as cycle counts as needed

Responsible for driving when running errands or picking up supplies or food for company events

Assist the Support Services department to coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades by calling and emailing involved parties; performs simple to moderate repairs in-house

Tracks facilities service requests such as troubleshooting AC, some electrical and plumbing issues, and ensures requests to landlord and/or contractors are completed within established timelines and quality standards

Maintains a safe and effective working environment

Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands: This position will require ability to lift up to 50 lbs., lift up to 25 lbs. over your head (to dispose of cardboard or other waste), bend at the knees and waist, and may involve extended periods of standing 8 hours per day, as well as repetitive motions.

Safety: Some risk of exposure to chemicals, biological substances, sharps and/or scientific instruments capable of causing bodily injury if used improperly. We comply with OSHA standards regarding Bloodborne pathogens, Safety Needle Act, Chemical Hygiene Plan in addition to maintaining robust safety & training programs.
