Position Summary The Senior IT Procurement Specialist supports the Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) organization by managing sourcing, contracting, supplier relationships, and procurement activities across technology spend categories. This role partners closely with DD&T stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to deliver value, support business initiatives, and ensure effective procurement execution.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support sourcing initiatives, competitive bid events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), and supplier evaluations. Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), software agreements, SaaS, cloud, and professional services contracts.
Partner with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies and support technology investments. Manage supplier relationships and support supplier performance reviews.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and value creation. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Security, Privacy, and other cross-functional teams throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Support contract renewals, procurement governance, and compliance with company policies. Analyze spend data and develop recommendations to improve commercial outcomes and operational efficiency.
Drive procurement best practices and continuous process improvement initiative. Spend Categories Supported Software & SaaS Cloud Services Infrastructure & Hosting Managed Services Professional Services & Consulting AI, Data & Digital Solutions External Workforce & Technology Services Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. 4–6 years of IT Procurement, Technology Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management experience.
Experience negotiating technology and software agreements. Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and procurement systems. Preferred Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
