
Laboratory Technician - 2nd Shift, 4*10 Schedule

Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Pick up glassware from lab areas; clean, dry, and store glassware
Prepare solutions
Retrieve acids and wash solvents from storage; check to ensure adequate supplies maintained; dispose waste solutions
Maintain properly dried desiccant in desiccators and change pipette bath solutions as needed
Glassware area and washer and dryer cleaning and maintenance
Help technical staff as needed with miscellaneous support
Scanning and filing documents
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Ability to work with a variety of personality styles
Ability to learn and assign appropriate priorities to the work each day
Ability to interpret and understand oral and written instructions
Ability to learn and use GMP-compliant work practices and systems
Strong organizational skills and time management
Ability to work independently after training
Ability to understand and follow directions
High school diploma or equivalent
Position is full-time, Monday-Thursday, 3pm - 1am. 4*10 schedule, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Portage, MI are encouraged to apply.
