Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing offers complete CMC Testing Services for the Bio/Pharmaceutical industry, including all starting materials, process intermediates, drug substances, drug product, packaging, and manufacturing support through our broad technical expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular & Cell Biology, Virology, Chemistry and Microbiology.

Our local presence ensures personal service backed by a unique global breadth of harmonised capabilities that support all functional areas of bio/pharmaceutical drug development and manufacturing, including method development, microbiology, process validation and quality control.

As Business Development & Project Manager Biologics Switzerland, you will be responsible for driving business growth across Switzerland for Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing.

We are looking for a commercially driven professional with a strong understanding of biologics and large molecule development who can identify and win new customers while managing opportunities and customer projects through the organization. This role requires a combination of sales excellence, project coordination and strategic account development.

You will serve as the primary interface between customers and Eurofins' scientific and operational teams, ensuring customer requirements are translated into successful project execution and long-term partnerships.

The ideal candidate has an established network within the Swiss pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, understands the local market landscape and enjoys building sustainable business relationships while developing new opportunities.

Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across Switzerland within the Biopharma and Biotechnology sector

Identify, develop and close opportunities related to biologics and large molecule testing services

Build and manage strategic relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and CDMO customers

Lead customer opportunities from initial contact through proposal development, negotiation, project implementation and follow-up

Coordinate internal stakeholders, laboratories and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery

Develop and grow existing customer accounts by identifying new business opportunities

Act as the customer's advocate within Eurofins and ensure an exceptional customer experience

Monitor market developments, competition and industry trends within the Swiss Life Sciences ecosystem

Represent Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Switzerland at conferences, industry events and networking activities

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and business development plans

Degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field

Several years of experience in project management, business development, sales, account management or within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, CDMO or laboratory services industry

Solid understanding of biologics, large molecules, monoclonal antibodies, proteins, cell and gene therapies or related BioPharma services

Proven track record in new customer acquisition and business growth

Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills

Existing network within the Swiss pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry is highly desirable

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building capabilities

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and develop a sustainable business territory

Fluent German and English; French is considered a strong advantage

Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland (20%-40%)
