<p><strong>Purpose Statement:</strong></p><p>This role is responsible for ensuring compliant and efficient logistics operations for Boston Scientific medical devices, covering inbound receipt, warehousing, inventory control, shipping, customs/trade compliance, and physical distribution, in alignment with regulatory requirements, quality systems, and Boston Scientific policies.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Supervise and oversee end-to-end logistics operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, cycle counting, issuance, warehouse cleanroom, shipping, and physical distribution (ship direct).</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA, ISO 13485, GDP) with Boston Scientific Quality System.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems, ensuring traceability and reconciliation through regular cycle counts and audits.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and segregation of raw material and finished goods in accordance with quality and safety requirements.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Support internal and external audits, inspections and regulatory reviews by preparing documentation and addressing observations in a timely manner.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Investigate and resolve logistics-related issues, deviations, non-conformances, and complaints in collaboration with Quality and other cross-functional teams.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Supervise in develop, review and maintain entire warehouse related work instructions and records to ensure compliance and standardization.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Quality, Production Unit, Engineering, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Ensure compliance with EHS, security and company policies within warehouse and logistics operations.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Provide guidance, training and mentoring to junior logistics or warehouse personnel, as applicable.</p></li></ul><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Consistently look for continue improvement for the accuracy and productivity of the process.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Job Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related discipline.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance, and Import/Export Operations.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Strong hands-on experience with Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) operations and customs compliance in Malaysia, preferably within a manufacturing environment.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Proven experience in customs permit applications, import/export declarations, duty exemption management, customs audits, and regulatory reporting.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Strong knowledge of Malaysian Customs regulations, import/export controls, and trade compliance requirements.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Experience working with regulatory authorities and government agencies, including:</p><ul><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD)</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI)</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>SIRIM Berhad</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Department of Environment (DOE)</p></li></ul></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Sound understanding of permit conditions, licensing requirements, import/export restrictions, and regulatory compliance obligations.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Proficient in customs declaration platforms such as uCustoms, Dagang Net, or equivalent systems.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Solid knowledge of tariff classification, customs valuation, Rules of Origin, and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Experience managing import/export documentation, customs declarations, permit applications, and LMW inventory controls.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and supply chain management processes.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in managing customs documentation and compliance requirements.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and implement effective solutions.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical compliance deadlines.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Ability to manage multiple permits, customs declarations, and regulatory submissions concurrently.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Strong risk assessment, issue resolution, and escalation management capabilities.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Proactive and continuous improvement mindset, focused on enhancing compliance processes and operational efficiency.</p></li><li style="list-style-type: disc;"><p>Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external
