Acting as a key bridge between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will maximize business value through strategic sourcing best practices, delivering cost savings/avoidance, risk reduction, quality, and strong supplier performance to ensure investment projects achieve optimal value.</p><h3 data-path-to-node="5">Your Role</h3><ul data-path-to-node="6"><li><p data-path-to-node="6,0,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,0,0">Sourcing Execution Excellence:</strong> Drive sourcing execution for re-occurring technical spend (site services, utilities, site CapEx, equipment, components, MRO, and technical supplies) across the region.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,1,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,1,0">Investment Project Support:</strong> Flexibly manage sourcing for major investment projects (project size > €2M).</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,2,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,2,0">Category Strategy Alignment:</strong> Collaborate closely with Global Category Managers and Global Sourcing Managers to deploy global category strategies at the local and regional levels, adapting to specific business needs.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,3,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,3,0">Market Intelligence & Risk Management:</strong> Monitor category-based market conditions, emerging technologies, and global trends to update and execute successful sourcing strategies.

Identify, manage, and mitigate supply chain risks.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,4,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,4,0">Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement:</strong></p><ul data-path-to-node="6,4,1"><li><p data-path-to-node="6,4,1,0,0">Engage stakeholders early to align procurement initiatives with business strategies and foster a collaborative site network.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,4,1,1,0">Utilize collaborative procurement and competitive processes to continuously improve quality, service, and leverage spend.</p></li></ul></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,5,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,5,0">End-to-End Sourcing Management:</strong></p><ul data-path-to-node="6,5,1"><li><p data-path-to-node="6,5,1,0,0">Lead sourcing activities: establish procurement execution models and plans, direct supplier qualification, organize bidding, negotiate terms, and track project quality, cost, delivery, and timing.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,5,1,1,0">Optimize the supplier base through demand bundling.</p></li></ul></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,6,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,6,0">Negotiation & Contract Management:</strong> Skillfully negotiate agreements in a timely manner. Manage supplier onboarding, segmentation, performance, and relationships.

Resolve commercial issues and disputes alongside internal customers.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,7,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,7,0">Governance & Compliance:</strong> Manage contract administration, terms, and terminations, ensuring full adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, biosafety protocols, and regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="6,8,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="6,8,0">Process Improvement & AI Integration:</strong> Develop efficiency improvement plans, including leveraging AI applications to streamline tail spend management.</p></li><li><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="7,0">Travel Requirement:</strong> Up to 30%, primarily within China and Taiwan.</li></ul><h2 data-path-to-node="9"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">WHO YOU ARE</span></h2><ul data-path-to-node="11"><li><p data-path-to-node="11,0,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="11,0,0">Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience), preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="11,1,0"><strong data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="11,1,0">Experience:</strong> Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
