External applicants must be eligible to work in the US. Your Role: The GMP Manufacturing Technician 4 - Day Shift at MilliporeSigma's Cherokee Site (3300 S.

Second Ave, St. Louis), you will play a key role in supporting API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) manufacturing within a cGMP-regulated environment.

This role is responsible for safely carrying out established procedures, contributing to the development of improved operational approaches, and providing essential manufacturing support. Day-to-day activities will encompass equipment maintenance, solution preparation, equipment and supply staging, and a variety of other manufacturing support tasks. Expectations to ensure “Compliance “and “Readiness” within our GMP Operations teams, ultimately enabling high manufacturing success. Job duties include:<ul style="margin-top: 0.0in; margin-bottom: 0.0in;"><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;">Shift Details: This role will support 24/7 manufacturing operations and work 12-hour shifts from 6:00am – 6:30pm. including a 5% shift differential.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Prepare buffer formulations in support of Drug Substance manufacturing, with a focus on safety and quality.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas including cleaning during regularly scheduled intervals (daily, weekly, etc.).</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Execution and documentation of daily tasks following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Utilize quality approved operating procedures and document activities with adherence to GDP standards.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Maintaining logbooks in accordance with the procedure.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Safely and properly dispose cleaning and process waste per approved procedures.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Maintain safe stock of supplies and gowning utilizing Kanban system.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Aid/input in quality deviations as needed.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Perform safety inspections and necessary preventive maintenance.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Assist in preparation of and follow procedures to ensure compliance with applicable Safety and Quality guidelines.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Develop, assist in the implementation of process improvement, safety, quality, and 6S</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Training of new employees on department policy, procedure, and processes.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Assist in a department function and work closely with department supervisor to ensure daily department operating goals are achieved.</li></ul> Physical Attributes:<ul style="margin-top: 0.0in; margin-bottom: 0.0in;"><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Stand for extended periods of time. </li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Lift, push, and or pull up to 35lbs. </li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Wear mask, safety shoes, gloves, Tyvek suits, respirator, and related personal protective equipment.</li></ul> Who you are: Minimum Qualifications: <ul style="margin-top: 0.0in; margin-bottom: 0.0in;"><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">High school diploma or GED.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">6 months’ experience in a pharmaceutical GMP operations environment (Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, knowledge of Good Documentation Practices).</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul style="margin-top: 0.0in; margin-bottom: 0.0in;"><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Strong mechanical aptitude.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Demonstrated process improvement experience.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Familiarity with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards.</li><li style="margin: 0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 32.0px; line-height: normal; background-color: white; font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">Demonstrated knowledge and experience in various computer skills, including Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.</li></ul>RSREMDPay Range for this position: $24.00 - $41.00.The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position.

The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
