Position Description The Preventative Maintenance Technician at Applied Medical plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment used to produce life-saving medical devices. This position supports the safety and effectiveness of products delivered to healthcare professionals and patients worldwide. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and other manufacturing equipment according to factory requirements and established schedules.</li><li>Execute maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts to maintain equipment performance per factory recommendations.</li><li>Document all maintenance activities accurately, including dates, tasks performed, parts used, and observations.</li><li>Support inventory management by monitoring and replenishing spare parts and supplies used to minimize downtime.</li><li>Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.</li></ul> Success in This Role Looks Like<ul><li>Maintain equipment reliability through timely and thorough preventative maintenance.</li><li>Reduce downtime by identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact production.</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation that supports traceability and compliance with quality standards.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate repairs and share recommendations.</li><li>Contribute to Applied Medical’s mission by supporting efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes.</li></ul> Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes:<ul><li>Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in English (written and verbal).</li><li>Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Showcase basic mechanical aptitude, demonstrated through performance or certifications.</li><li>Use standard hand tools safely and effectively.</li></ul> Preferred The following skills and attributes are preferred:<ul><li>Display attention to detail when inspecting and maintaining equipment.</li><li>Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Adapt to changing work conditions and demonstrate a willingness to learn.</li><li>At least 1 year of experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or similar environment.</li></ul> Benefits <ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Competitive compensation range: $20 - $23 / hour (California).</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package.</li><li>Training and mentorship opportunities.</li><li>On-campus wellness activities.</li><li>Education reimbursement program.</li><li>401(k) program with discretionary employer match.</li><li>Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule.</li></ul>Please note that the compensation range may be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, experience.
