The ideal candidate is a highly energetic and motivated scientist with experience in discovery and development of protein therapeutics.

The position requires a strong background in human immunology, and tumor biology, as well as hands-on experience with major biotechnology platforms for biologics drug development Incucyte, Emulate, MSD, FACS, etc.Candidates with a passion for agentic AI-based system development are highly encouraged to apply.This role is full-time onsite at our Redmond, WA location and we will be moving to our new building in Bothell, WA fall 2026.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and apply in vitro, and in situ models to identify and characterize novel antibody therapeuticsEvaluate novel pathways and mechanisms for immunological therapeutic intervention and formulate strategies for bispecific and therapeutic combination approachesWork as part of highly collaborative interdisciplinary teamPrepare written reports to specification and oral presentations on research projectsPrepare documents for submission to domestic and international regulatory agenciesLead immuno-oncology discovery/preclinical projectsOther duties as assignedQualificationsPhD in immunology, cancer biology or related field with 2 - 5+ years of relevant academic and/or pharmaceutical or biotech experienceBackground in human immune cell biology, or immune cell receptor signaling researchExpertise in discovery and development of protein therapeutics and mammalian cell cultureResearch experience in developing bispecific antibodies is preferredExcellent time management and organizational skillsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsPossess the right attitude (agile, curious, positive, open-minded, “can-do” mindset), and have the ability and strong desire to “make things happen”Work EnvironmentBench top work in a BSL-2 laboratory environment, including potential exposure to biohazardsAdherence to Health and Safety standards when working with temperature-controlled systems, including liquid and vapor phase liquid nitrogenPhysical DemandsOccasional lifting to 30 poundsRequires repetitive multi-channel pipetting, single channel pipetting, and computer data entryFine motor movements in fingers/hands to operate computers and other office and lab equipment, repetitive motion with lab equipmentStooping, bending, crouching, reaching, or climbing laddersPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkMay need to work outside of standard working hours at timesThis role is currently working onsite and is expected to work onsite for working hours, with flexibility to work start time.
