Receiving Customer samples and recording information in Shipping and receiving Log.
Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as Per ASTM Standards , ISTA standard or per Customer Protocol.
Add Sample Information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and may include generating a Work Order
Prepare Test Evidence Report.
Entry level data review and data reporting, following good documentation practices
Maintain Records of Packaging Testing.
Monitor and Provide customer support regarding testing services provided.
Update Customer on test Status, updates, results.
Report any Deviation observed to operations Manager.
Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies
B.S Degree in Engineering, Packaging or Packaging Emphasis, or High School/Associate Degree with 3-5 years of previous experience in packaging technical experience.
Production testing or related industry is desired but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and General Computer Literacy is required.
Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, climb, bend and reach without restriction is required.
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates within a commutable distance of San Jose, CA are encouraged to apply.
