In this vital role you will Lead the modernization and continuous improvement of the Disaster Recovery (DR) program while partnering with business stakeholders to strengthen Business Continuity (BC) capabilities and enterprise operational resilience. The Sr. Associate serves as the Disaster Recovery program lead, driving technology recovery planning, recovery strategy, dependency management, AI-enabled modernization, orchestration, telemetry, reusable services, testing, governance, and continuous improvement. The role develops working knowledge of Business Continuity processes and provides initial analysis, triage, coordination, and support for Business Continuity planning activities, escalating complex Business Continuity planning issues to Business Continuity specialists as appropriate. Provide input and feedback on Global Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Services strategy,

requirements, standards, procedures, processes, training, templates, tools, metrics, and reporting. Lead and collaborate with business clients, IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, risk management, and global virtual teams in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery capabilities and technology recovery strategies, while partnering with Business Continuity stakeholders to ensure alignment between business recovery

requirements and technology recovery planning. Develop working knowledge of Business Continuity (BC) processes and provide initial analysis, triage, coordination, and support for Business Continuity planning activities, including stakeholder engagement, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Plan (BCP) development, dependency mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives. Escalate complex Business Continuity planning issues to Business Continuity specialists while ensuring alignment with Disaster Recovery strategies. Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) planning activities, including recovery strategy development, dependency analysis, recovery documentation, recovery orchestration, technology recovery coordination, and alignment with critical business services, applications, infrastructure, and recovery objectives. Lead enterprise dependency mapping across business processes, vendors, suppliers, technology, personnel, facilities, and critical resources to strengthen Disaster Recovery readiness while supporting Business Continuity planning and recovery prioritization. Lead the use of Agentic AI to modernize Disaster Recovery planning by integrating Business Impact Analysis (BIA), critical business data, application dependencies, and recovery priorities to improve technology recovery planning and operational resilience. Lead the development and continuous improvement of AI-enabled Disaster Recovery plan generation and maintenance, ensuring recovery documentation remains current, resilient, and aligned to business priorities while supporting synchronization with Business Continuity plans. Lead identification and visibility of Key Computerized Systems (KCSs) and Critical Systems to improve Disaster Recovery prioritization while supporting Business Continuity planning and resilience activities. Lead continuous analysis of critical business services, KCSs, supporting technologies, and infrastructure to identify recovery gaps, technology risks, and impacts to Disaster Recovery plans while communicating business impacts and recovery considerations to Business Continuity stakeholders. Lead governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled Disaster Recovery workflows, ensuring appropriate fallback, override, recovery, and escalation mechanisms are incorporated while supporting Business Continuity

requirements and operational resilience objectives. Lead engineering efforts to optimize and modernize Disaster Recovery exercises / testing, coordinating cross-functional participation, validating recovery objectives, documenting lessons learned, and driving corrective actions. Partner with Business Continuity specialists to ensure alignment between business recovery

requirements and technology recovery capabilities. Exercise outcomes Achieved Recovery Time (ART) and Achieved Recovery Point (ARP), where applicable Action Items Lessons Learned Guidance and governance to meet

requirements Lead engineering efforts for recovery validation, risk assessments, and program governance activities. Research, interpret results, analyze data, and present information to technical and non-technical stakeholders to inform continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery program standards, procedures, processes, training, templates, tools, metrics, and reporting, while identifying opportunities to strengthen Business Continuity alignment. Provide functional leadership and guidance to business partners on Disaster Recovery planning tools, recovery methodologies, documentation standards, governance, and technology resilience practices while supporting Business Continuity planning, documentation, and operational resilience initiatives. Authority Advises management and business partners on Disaster Recovery strategy, recovery maturity, technology resilience, dependency visibility, governance, and AI-enabled modernization. Serves as the primary Disaster Recovery advisor while coordinating with Business Continuity leadership to ensure business recovery

qualifications

Basic

Qualifications: Master's degree OR, Bachelor's degree and 5 to 9 years of experience in Risk Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field Familiarity with automation concepts, AI-enabled workflows, and Agentic AI principles, with the ability and willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes

Preferred

Qualifications: Degree educated in a business-related, information systems, computer science, risk management, or related subject. Strong/proven project management skills to meet deliverables and goals. Experience leading Disaster Recovery planning, recovery testing, dependency mapping, recovery governance, technology resilience, and operational resilience initiatives, with working knowledge of Business Continuity planning, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and continuity coordination. Experience designing, implementing, integrating, testing, maintaining, and continuously improving Agentic AI-enabled workflows across enterprise platforms. Experience designing AI-enabled workflows that identify process improvements while incorporating governance, fallback, override, recovery, and escalation capabilities. Experience ensuring policy and standard compliance for AI or Agentic AI solutions. Experience applying AI or Agentic AI to automate Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning, plan generation, dependency mapping, process analysis, reporting, and exercise development. Experience mapping dependencies across vendors, suppliers, technology, resources, critical systems, and other factors that influence BC/DR readiness. Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated with strong analytical, troubleshooting, learning agility, initiative, and follow-through skills. Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams and independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
