CNC Machinist II - Night Shift

Responsible for the production of high-tolerance precision parts. </p><p> </p><p><strong>This is a night shift position. </strong></p><p><strong>First week: Monday - Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:30am. </strong></p><p><strong>Second week: Monday - Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:30am, Thursday 6:00pm - 2:30am. </strong></p><p><strong>Pay: $29.00 with $3.00 shift differential as applicable.</strong></p><p> </p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist II</H2></div><div><p>• Intermediate ability to interpret technical prints. <br />• Intermediate knowledge and use of CNC machine G&M Code and troubleshooting skills to identify and communicate program improvements to programmers.<br />• Setup, operate and adjust machining equipment for basic and intermediate complexity part production without supervision.<br />• Monitors quality of parts produced utilizing basic and advanced visual metrology devices to ensure Customer requirements are met and follows procedure for handling nonconforming parts.<br />• Abides by all Company safety and health policies and procedures.<br />• Must use personal protective equipment if required. <strong>(Company provided)</strong><br />• Aware of and conforms to company ISO goals and objectives and supports company ISO requirements.<br />• Aware of and actively participates in company’s Lean philosophy of continuous improvement.<br />• Ensures measuring devices used to check product quality are calibrated prior to use.<br />• Maintains in-process product identification.<br /><br /></p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed</H2></div><div><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>• High school diploma or equivalent. <br />• Minimum one (1) year machining experience in addition to Vocational/Technical degree or four (4) years CNC Machining in lieu of degree.<br />• Experience in a CNC I capacity <br />• CNC set up<br />• Good hand/eye coordination (manual dexterity), basic organizational and troubleshooting/problem solving skills </li><li>• Intermediate knowledge of CNC G&M codes </li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><p> </p><p>• Technical/Vocational degree in a related field<br />• Data entry system experience</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>What STERIS Offers</H2></div><div><p>We value our employees and are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, well-being and financial future.
