<div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Position Summary</b></H2></div><div><p>As a Welder you will be responsible for performing high mix / low volume manual TIG welding of stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum within a high-quality medical device manufacturing environment.</p><p> </p><p>Shift:6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday </p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>What You'll do as a Welder</b></H2></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Set up and operate welding equipment using prescribed methods and procedures to weld parts with acceptable tolerances and standards.</li><li>Build weldments through manual layout and manual surface prep processes when required.</li><li>Read and interpret welding blueprints, including standard welding symbols, travelers, and other work instruction documents.</li><li>Position parts to be joined using fixtures and other holding or positioning devices.</li><li>Use required measuring instruments and gages to check and ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.</li><li>Assist in problem-solving activities.</li><li>Capable of mentoring/ training Associate Welder & Welder I</li><li>Capable of fitting, purging, and welding complete joint penetration (CJP) welds</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot welding equipment and materials and fixturing.</li><li>Capable of performing visual welding inspection.</li><li>Ability to interpret AWS standards and welding symbols.</li><li>Ability to produce all product lines within the designated area.</li><li>Assist the Senior Welder with a review of all standard work within the designated area.</li><li>Capable of mentoring/training Welder II</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>The Experience, Skills and Abilities</b></H2></div><div><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>3-5 years of welding experience required.</li><li>2 years of experience working in a solid metal fabrication/machining environment</li><li>Must be able to use prescribed manual processes in TIG welding of stainless, mild steel, and aluminum.</li><li>Must be able to use precision measuring instruments and gages.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Welding experience in flux core, MIG, stick, carbon steel, preferred.</li><li>Certification in GTAW (TIG) preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Other:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Must have strong math and troubleshooting proficiency and basic computer skills.</li><li>Must be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, including all standard welding symbols.</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>What STERIS Offers</b></H2></div><div><p>We value our employees and are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your</p><p>health, well-being, and financial future.</p><p> </p><p><em>Here is just a brief overview of what we offer:</em></p><p> </p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Market Competitive Pay</li><li>Extensive Paid Time Off and (9) added holidays</li><li>Excellent Healthcare, Dental and Vision Benefits</li><li>Long/Short Term disability coverage</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>Maternity & Paternal Leave</li><li>Additional add-on benefits/discounts for programs such as Pet Insurance</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement and continued educations programs</li><li>Excellent opportunities for advancement and stable long-term career</li></ul></div></div></div> <p>Pay range for this opportunity is $21.05 - $27.24. <span style="color:black">This position is eligible for bonus participation.</span></p><p> </p><p>Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
