This position offers meaningful impact and strong opportunities for career growth within a growing organization.</p><p>More information on the business unit: <a href="https://www.steris.com/healthcare/products/mobile-sterile-processing">Mobile Sterilization Unit | Mobile Sterilization Solutions | Mobile Processing Unit | Mobile SPD | STERIS</a> </p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">#LI-CM1 </span></p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>What you will do as a Mobile Unit Service Technician II:</H2></div><div><ul><li>Manages STERIS assets utilizing electronic inventory management platform to maintain inventory, tools, personal protective equipment, vehicle, etc. to prescribed levels.</li><li>Perform fundamental troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of STERIS and competitive equipment, systems and components.</li><li>Manages time effectively by prioritizing Customer and business needs and schedules autonomously to complete PM performance, service calls, warranty calls, equipment installations, field upgrade programs and other duties. </li><li>Perform daily administrative duties using multiple application platforms and technology equipment (laptop, smartphone, related software).
This includes, but is not limited to scheduling, effective communication, managing parts trunk stock, daily completion of service reports and activities while on site; Learning new technologies and software applications as they become available to improve productivity.</li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>The Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed: </H2></div><div><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 6 years of progressive work experience, including 3 years mechanical/technical directly related experience (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, automotive etc.).</li><li>Successful in achieving ESS II training and promotional requirements.</li><li>Customer and team engagement experience.</li><li>Basic computer skills (MS windows/email, navigation, mobile app, data input into multi systems).</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and the ability meet all required background and physical assessment elements to obtain & maintain existing and new vendor credentialing requirements.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes outside “normal business hours” and including overnight travel (amount may vary based on district geography). </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred: </strong></p><ul><li>2+ years experience repairing STERIS equipment (Washers, Sterilizers)</li></ul></div></div></div> <p>Pay range for this opportunity is $30.04 - $38.87. <span style="color:black">This position is eligible for bonus participation.</span></p><p> </p><p>Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
