The role includes responding to employee inquiries, maintaining accurate employee records and files and supporting employee relations activities.

In addition, the position provides support to the HR department as needed.</p><p>The role also supports day-to-day and month-end accounting activities.</p><p>The Payroll & Accounting Specialist works in close collaboration with the Finance and HR team across the Iberia region, contributing to the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial and payroll operations.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Duties</H2></div><div><ul><li>Process end-to-end payroll for employees in “Filosoft” system, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations and maintain organized records of payroll transactions and employee compensation.</li><li>Manage employee data, including hires, leaves, terminations, attendance, salary changes, and benefits among others.</li><li>Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal stakeholders and local authorities. Ensure compliance with statutory filings (tax, social security, etc.) and assist in the analysis of HR data.</li><li>Handle employee payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Ensure that Travel & Expense policy and procedures is implemented, reviewing and approving T&E reports.</li><li>Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, supporting GL activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.</li><li>Complete assigned document requests for internal/external auditors timely and accurately.</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Education Degree</H2></div><div><div>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance</div></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Required Experience</H2></div><div><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll roles.</li><li>Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labor/tax regulations.</li><li>Experience with payroll software and ERP system.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Specific Work Preferences</H2></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>Experience in multinational or complex payroll environments.</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting principles</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Compensation</H2></div><div><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;">In line with our commitment to transparency and equal pay, we provide the following information:</p><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;"><strong>Salary Range: </strong>€22,250 - €28,533</li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;"><strong>Bonus:</strong> This position is eligible for corporate bonus.</li></ul></div></div></div> <p> </p><p>STERIS is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention.
