Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

<div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Position Summary:</b></H2></div><div><p>This is a skilled position requiring advanced knowledge of boiler, HVAC, electrical distribution, control systems maintenance, industrial mechanical skills, pipefitting, and a variety of building and equipment maintenance tasks in the plant or on the premises. </p><p> </p><p><em>Location:</em> 7405 Page Ave St. Louis, MO</p><p><em>Hours:</em> 10pm - 6:30am (3rd shift) Monday through Friday</p><p><em>*Training will be between 1st & split shift for 2 to 4 weeks</em></p><p><em>Pay:</em> $37.41 + $0.75 Shift Differential + bonus (bi-weekly pay schedule)</p><p><em>Hire:</em> Direct, Full Time</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>What You'll Do:</b></H2></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Perform various types of welding operations required for repair and/or installation of equipment.</li></ul><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Under the direction of the supervisor, must be capable of operating the Storeroom by assisting in the</p><p>following areas:</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Receive parts, tools, labels, and supplies into the Storeroom and check against the purchase order for accuracy of receipt.</li></ul></li></ul><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="list-style-type: none;"><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Maintain stock inventory by entering required information, maintain bin cards, storeroom requisitions, and employee issue files as required.</li></ul></li></ul><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="list-style-type: none;"><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Generate purchase requisitions as required and forward to the appropriate authority for approval.</li><li>Maintain written and/or electronic records as required by management (i.e. cGMP and ISO procedures).</li><li>Keep storeroom area, equipment, and surrounding work area clean at all times.</li></ul></li><li><p>Exercise extreme caution in order to not damage other material or property while operating movingequipment and must at all times exercise extreme caution for the safety of other employees.</p></li><li><p>Comply fully with all hazardous permitted procedures, including but not limited to, lockout/tagout,confined space entry or fall protection.</p></li><li><p>When required for maintenance or repair activities, is responsible for removing accumulated hazardouswastes from affected area and for transporting such wastes to the hazardous waste storage area.</p></li><li><p>Stock all maintenance inventory and production supplies.</p></li><li><p>Work in all areas of industrial maintenance performing a variety of construction and repair tasks.</p></li><li><p>Uphold good safety record and troubleshooting skills.</p></li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Skills, Abilities, and Experience: </b></H2></div><div><p><em>Required:</em></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Five (5) plus years of industrial plant maintenance experience required, working in a particular craft or multi-craftposition.</p></li><li><p>Associates degree in Industrial Technology or Industrial Maintenance required</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Will accept 10 years’ relevant experience & Highschool Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent in lieu of Associates Degree.</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety warning labels, machine instruction manuals andschematics.</p></li><li><p>Basic math, writing and data entry skills.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated proficiency in performing advanced maintenance functions in a safe manner, including but not limited to the following:</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Industrial electronics, welding, pipe fitting, carpentry, shop machine operation, pump repair, boiler repair, HVAC. <em>(May be either from education or experience)</em></p></li></ul></li><li><p>Must be able to perform basic rescue and life-saving functions when serving as safety backup.</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Company provides CPR training/certification - must be willing abd able to comply.</p></li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p><em>Preferred:</em></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Stationary Engineering Certification (Boiler Certification).</li><li>HVAC Certification.</li><li>Exceptional repair, troubleshooting and/or mechanical skills related to Boilers, HVAC Systems, Lathe, Fabrication and/or similar equipment.</li><li>Expereince working cross-functionally with diverse teams.</li><li>Previous experience with Instrumentation Controls.</li></ul><p> </p><p><em>Other:</em></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Reliable, good communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to communicate and coordinate efforts with people from all levels of the organization.</p></li><li><p>Able to work with minimal direct supervision.</p></li><li><p>Ability to access all parts of all production equipment, including, but not limited to the following:</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Confinedspaces; ceiling mounted equipment; equipment in pits, machines that must be climbed, crawled under, orotherwise entered with limited access.</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Good hand/eye coordination.</p></li><li><p>May be expected to move, carry and lift approximately 70 pounds.</p></li><li><p>May be expected to climb heights of approximately 30 feet.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, as required.</p></li><li><p>Equipment listed below may be used as needed to assist in these Required Competencies:</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Forklift, scissor lift, all shop equipment, power tools, various welders, hoists.</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Ability to climb ladders and narrow stairs safely.</p></li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em;
