<div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>Position Summary</b></H2></div><div><p>The HR Project Manager has responsibility for managing large projects tied to HR strategic initiatives and leading the change management workstream. The projects managed may include 3-5 HR strategic initiatives, supporting the project sponsor and project lead.

These initiatives may include HR operating model, Total Rewards and Talent initiatives, software implementations/upgrades, operational and organizational changes. Working cross-functionally with groups such as Finance, Operations and IT, this role has the objective of driving projects to completion, on time and under budget.</p><p>This position will directly report to VP of Talent Management and HR Operations.</p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Requires working in the Mentor, OH office and has the option to go hybrid after 90 days pending hiring manager approval.</em></strong></p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>What You'll Do As a Project Manager, Human Resources</b></H2></div><div><p><strong>Project Management</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Lead the planning, coordinating and driving of multiple projects, varying in size and scope and complexity, with average supervision/guidance and coaching</li><li>In partnership with the project sponsors, facilitate the definition of projects’ charter, scope, goals and deliverables and manage all project artifacts and communications with team members</li><li>Lead key projects coordinating across STERIS cross-functional and outside resources effectively defining roles and responsibilities, key milestones, and deliverables to meet timelines and targeted results</li><li>Coordinate resources assigned to the effort, including defining each team member’s role and responsibility</li><li>Effectively apply project management methodology and enforce project standards</li><li>Prepare and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions</li><li>For each unique project, develop project plans including resources, timing and dependencies</li><li>Participate in webinars, training sessions, and user groups to become the STERIS expert on the project subject matter</li><li>Develop scorecards and metrics for each initiative to track progress and share with HR leadership, team members and stakeholders</li><li>Use Lean philosophies and methodology for process improvement.

Participates in, conducts or facilitates Kaizen events when appropriate and supports the action plans that result in those events.</li><li>Measure implemented solutions based on defined KPIs</li></ul><p><strong>Change Management</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Document new processes and procedures</li><li>Implement process, technology or organizational changes based on determined solutions</li><li>Prepare and deliver all communications related to the initiative</li><li>Prepare comprehensive implementation plans</li><li>Ensure a smooth transition from recommendation to implementation including the preparation of performance metrics from which progress will be gauged</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed</b></H2></div><div><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Bachelors Degree </li><li>7+ years of experience managing projects</li><li>Experience in managing 2 – 3 major business projects from concept to implementation</li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Experience in Human Resources program or project management</li><li>Lean experience </li><li>Change Management certification </li><li>PMP certification or experience using project planning tools</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>Solid knowledge/understanding of business processes</li><li>The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time is critical to the success of this role</li><li>Strong influence skills with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships and complete tasks without direct accountability</li><li>Excellent organization, prioritization and decision-making skills required</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively manage cross functional teams</li><li>Overall professional confidence and maturity that commands respect</li><li>Operational leadership capability including driving continuous improvement initiatives both inside and outside direct organizational responsibilities</li><li>Problem solving and decision-making skills involving system design, internal business process development and tactical business decisions</li><li>Analytical and project management skills including data gathering, analysis, development of recommendations and creation of project plans</li><li>Comfort with ambiguity and appreciation for quality control</li><li>Excellent formal presentation skills before small and large groups</li></ul></div></div></div> <p>Pay range for this opportunity is $92,650.00 - $119,900.00.<span style="color:black"> This position is eligible for bonus participation.</span></p><p> </p><p>Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
