Duties include movement of product within unprocessed<br />storage area, transfer of product to processing area, loading and unloading processed product, places and retrieves<br />monitoring devices on product, pre-shipping preparation and staging product in processed area.

Reviews product<br />and process documents and instructions, i.e., Customer provided special instructions or work instructions, and<br />ensures accurate processing. May perform the duties of Material Handler I, Warehouse Material Handler,<br />Warehouse Assistant and / or Operator with initiation and/or completion of Operator training program.

May train<br />other Material Handlers in the essential functions of the job. Depending on the modality in which this role operates<br />(i.e.

Gamma), this is a highly physical role – requiring strength and endurance.</p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'>Duties</H2></div><div><p>1.Transfers product from unprocessed storage area to processing area, loads, and unloads processed product,<br />conducts pre-shipping preparation and stages product in processed area. Reviews product / process<br />documents and customer provided special instructions to ensure accurate processing.<br />2.

Maximizes processing and minimizes downtime by monitoring equipment used for product movement and<br />transfer; conducts and performs minor repairs, referring major malfunctions and / or unsafe conditions to<br />management or Maintenance Department; maintains a clean orderly work area, performs Material Handling,<br />production functions as needed; processes product according to specifications if qualified by training and<br />certification.<br />3. May assist in maintaining product inventory by receiving, identifying, labelling (if appropriate), and storing<br />product within the Shipping and Receiving area in accordance with established procedure and any applicable<br />Customer provided special instructions.<br />4.

Contributes to accuracy of processing and product accountability by maintaining product documentation;<br />implements appropriate corrective action as needed; places, retrieves and analyses product monitoring<br />devices per processing specifications.<br />5. Contributes to safe product processing by researching and responding to any alarm conditions in an<br />appropriate manner; reports events and activities outside normal parameters to Supervisor and/or Team<br />Leader or Operator and may assist in resolving issues acting within operational and safety guidelines;<br />conducts area housekeeping on a daily basis.<br />6.

Above average organizing and analysing skill and Level 2 math skill (four<br />basic arithmetic functions in all units of measurement, decimals ratios,<br />rates, percentages) to determine organizational, Customer and regulatory<br />problems and formulate corrective action plans; attention to detail.<br />6.

Requires effective interpersonal skills as demonstrated through prior<br />experience.<br />7. Able to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities.<br />8.

Normal hearing range sufficient to hear alarms, bells, horns, etc.<br />9.
