Working in the Sterile Processing Department, you will support surgical procedures by ensuring medical instruments are clean, sterile, organized, and available for the surgical team. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p><p><span data-ccp-props="{}"><span xml:lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto">This is an onsite role based in Durham, NC, supporting afternoon shift, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday. </span> </span></p></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>What you’ll do as a Sterile Processing Technician II:</b></H2></div><div><ul><li>Reprocess surgical trays post-surgery; ensuring they are decontaminated, cleaned, inspected, sterilized, correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next case</li><li>Operate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic and drying cabinets</li><li>Participate in regular on-site training</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:</b></H2></div><div><ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li><li>1 year Sterile Processing experience with CRCST or CBSPD certification or 2 years&rsquo; experience</li><li>CRCST or CBSPD certification (or willing to complete within 12 months of hire)</li></ul></div></div><div style='padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;'><div style='font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;'><H2 style='font-size: 1em; margin: 0px'><b>What STERIS Offers:</b></H2></div><div><p>STERIS is a global organization offering full time opportunities to join our growing team.
