Job Summary:

Responsible for performing purifications of target compounds using various methods, including, but not limited to preparative Super Critical Fluid Chromatography (SFC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (Prep-HPLC in both normal and reverse phase), trituration and recrystallization.

Key Responsibilities:

Purify reaction products using SFC, HPLC (Reverse and normal phase), Recrystallization and Trituration

Characterize compounds using standard analytical methods, such as HPLC/MS, NMR, GC/MS

Contribute to the expansion of team capabilities by identifying and evaluating new technologies, techniques, and stationary phases

Must be able to work well with other team members and independently

Maintain purification instrumentation including LCMS and Prep HPLC systems

Maintain accurate and thorough chemistry notebook(s)

Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with peers and management

Ability to perform and succeed in a multi-disciplinary team environment

Demonstrated track record of accurate and thorough record keeping

Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced research environment

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

PhD In Organic chemistry, analytical chemistry or related field

Industry or Post-doctoral experience (1-2 year) is preferred

Experience with HPLC and prep-HPLC instrumentation is required

Exprerience working with OLED molecules preferable

Experience with prep/process scale HPLE/SFC purification is preferable

Annual compensation range: $100k-$115k

At Adesis Inc., base pay is one part of our total compensation package. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the annual salary range only, and does not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
