
We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented Business Analyst to join Eurofins' Innovation team.
In this role, you will support digital transformation initiatives by working closely with Business, Laboratory Operations, and IT teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and implement solutions for internally developed laboratory systems.
You will contribute to global innovation projects such as chemST, chemIQ, and eLIMS, supporting Eurofins laboratories in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and other assigned locations.
This role is ideal for experienced Eurofins Laboratory Technicians who are passionate about technology, process improvement, and digital transformation. You will leverage your laboratory expertise to bridge business needs with IT solutions, supporting the implementation and enhancement of Eurofins' internally developed laboratory systems.
To bridge the gap between Business and IT by understanding operational needs, translating business requirements into functional specifications, and supporting the successful implementation of laboratory information system solutions.
Work closely with Business, Laboratory Operations, and IT teams to understand business processes and operational requirements.
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for innovation projects.
Prepare user requirements, functional specifications, and backlog items for development teams.
Ensure requirements are reviewed and approved by relevant stakeholders before implementation.
Collaborate with IT teams and interfacing application owners to define system integration requirements.
Participate in solution discussions to ensure proposed designs meet business needs.
Support backlog refinement and clarify requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Act as the primary contact between business users and development teams during project execution.
Coordinate functional testing activities and verify that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by working closely with business users and technical teams.
Ensure identified issues are properly documented, tracked, and resolved before Go-Live.
Serve as the first point of contact for change requests from key users.
Assess business impact, risks, and benefits of proposed changes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and system usability.
Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and process documentation as required.
Support end users in understanding system functionality and business processes.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation for innovation projects.
Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician within Eurofins is required.
Strong understanding of Eurofins laboratory operations, testing workflows, and internal business processes.
Hands-on experience working with laboratory information systems (e.g. EURIS, eLIMS) or other internal operational systems is highly preferred.
Experience participating in system implementation, process improvement, or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage.
Previous experience working closely with cross-functional teams and supporting business process changes is preferred.
