The Opportunity The Scientist Operations position executes and conducts research, development, or scientific/ technical activities. May facilitate, develop, or recommend improvements and/or new procedures related to products or processes.
Provides technical review, direction, and feedback to others and may lead small to medium projects. Independently develops data presentations for use within the organization.
What You'll Work On With minimal oversight, investigates, creates, and develops new methods and technologies for project advancement with limited assistance. Executes experiments, accomplishes established milestones and summarizes data, and interprets results.
Conducts moderately complex experiments and recommends options for other project approaches or experiments. Analyzes and evaluates data from multiple disciplines, considering various factors.

With oversight, recognizes and resolves basic to intermediate technical problems. CFT member participates in project planning and updates; executes project plan with oversight from leaders; participates in defining project goals; develops timelines; comprehends resource requirements.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (± 16 years) in biological or physical sciences, or mathematics; with a minimum of 4 yrs. M.S. w/ minimum 2 yrs experience Working knowledge of experimental approaches/protocols and scientific methods such as designing experiments and interpreting data, with increasing knowledge complexity with experience.
