
To perform Fixed Assets, Projects Accounting and Capital Expenditure /Order Accounting for diverse and complex business operations.
Maintain an accurate fixed asset register, including tracking the acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets.
Work closely with other departments including local finance organizations and support ensuring the integrity of the Fixed Assets accounting data.
Support the recording of all related financial activity in the Financial Services Statements and the ERP Fixed Asset sub ledger system.
Conduct reconciliations and provide reporting and analysis services to internal customers as assigned.
You are responsible for accounting and reporting all activity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls and company policies and procedures.
Provide training and support to fixed asset accountant on fixed asset processes and best practices.
Help develop and implement policies and procedures for fixed asset management, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations regarding fixed asset transactions and valuations.
Strategic Impact:
Operational Support: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, aligning with the strategic objectives set by the Operations Manager.
Data Accuracy: Ensure reliable data collection and reporting to support decision-making and operational strategies.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement tactical improvements in asset management processes for greater efficiency.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent accounting license is a nice to have but not required.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in fixed asset management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is essential.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and international accounting standards related to fixed assets (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to various stakeholders.
Global Perspective: Experience working in a global environment with an understanding of different regional practices and regulations.
Work Environment: Willingness to work at BGC, Taguig, mid shifts (3 PM - 12 PM) and Night shifts (9 PM - 6 AM). Shifts change due to MEC.
