Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct literature searches and prepare toxicological assessments of various raw materials/ingredients used in consumer and OTC products.
Create Raw Material Toxicology Profiles for INCI ingredients as well as residual chemicals.
Conduct risk assessments for raw materials used in cosmetic applications, including Margin of Safety and California Proposition 65 calculations.
Draft Full Safety Assessments as required by the European Cosmetics Directive.
Draft safety assessments for impurities and degradants based on requirements.
Draft Full Safety Assessments, including recommendations for the approval of formulas.
Complete all assigned training within the specified timelines.
Participate in Process Improvement Initiatives to maintain the Quality and Compliance score.
Escalate any issues encountered during daily activities to the Team Lead on a daily basis.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Regulatory Toxicologist.
Master's degree in Toxicology or Veterinary Pharmacology.
Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
Should be proactive and initiative-driven.
Should be solution-centric in approach.
