Pay Range: CHF83,000 - CHF 132,980 Placement within the salary range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations. We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to participate to the development of the backend of our digital pathology software.

The job involves contributing to the architecture evolution, optimization of the image rendering and analysis, and collaborating with other engineers and scientists in the R&D department. Role/Responsibilities This position reports to the: Computer Vision Team Leader Development of the digital pathology image analysis backend software Optimization of image rendering and navigation Participation to the image analysis workflow architecture Contributing to software QA activities such as unit testing, architecture documentation, integration, and system testing.

Required qualifications BsC/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent in professional experience 1+ years of experience of object-oriented programming in C++ and/or Python Experience with OpenGL and/or Qt is a plus Experience in computer vision / image processing is a plus Required soft skills You have the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment. You have the ability to collaborate with others by working in a team, share information with peers and managers.

You demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills. You demonstrate good organizational skills and attention to detail.
