The Associate II, Surgical General Field Sales & Account Management (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for achieving sales targets for specific accounts by establishing and implementing sales plans. You will drive sales, promotion, and development within designated accounts to reach commercial goals, applying advanced knowledge and skills through self-directed work.
Specifics include: • Achieve sales targets for specific accounts by establishing and implementing a sales/business plan for a designated client base or specific sales program • Develop customer development strategy and dedicated account action plans for assigned accounts, building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives • Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans, providing strategic input regarding analysis, future potential, and key programs for accounts • Prepare and negotiate contracts, guiding initiatives targeting particular accounts • Analyze market situations, including competitive intelligence on key accounts and competitors • Organize customer events and other programs independently or with marketing/medical departments, in line with agreed business tactical plans • Contribute to stakeholder mapping, including segmentation and profiling • Provide accurate and timely data for the Alcon Customer Relationship Management system All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
