In this vital role, you will lead the AIN based Product Lifecycle Management (Product LCM) Capability , providing strategic and operational leadership across Product Lifecycle Management and Artwork & Labeling . You will define the capability roadmap, establish governance and operating standards, and ensure consistent execution of lifecycle activities supporting Amgen's commercial portfolio.

As the operational leader for the PLM capability, you will oversee teams responsible for lifecycle execution and artwork implementation supporting both manufacturing sites and regional organizations. You will partner closely with Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Commercial, Digital and Affiliate organizations to continuously improve processes, strengthen organizational capabilities and drive operational excellence across the end-to-end product lifecycle.

While the role reports organizationally into the AIN based Supply Chain Enablement organization, it maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Director, Product Lifecycle Management Capability , ensuring alignment with the global capability strategy, governance model, operating standards and continuous improvement priorities. The Artwork & Labeling function within this organization also maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Global Artwork Organization , ensuring alignment with global artwork governance, standards, systems, processes and capability development.

In partnership with the Global Artwork leadership team, you will ensure consistent execution while representing the needs of the AIN based Artwork & Labeling team. Roles & Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Define and execute the Product Lifecycle Management capability strategy aligned with Global Supply Chain objectives and Product Management priorities.

Establish governance, operating standards and performance expectations for Lifecycle Management and Artwork & Labeling across Regional and Site Operations. Develop and maintain the capability roadmap, driving process harmonization, digital enablement, automation and organizational maturity.

Partner with Global Product Management, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Commercial organizations to align lifecycle strategies and execution priorities. Partner closely with the Director, Product Lifecycle Management Capability to execute the global capability strategy, governance framework and transformation roadmap.

Provide strategic insights into capability performance, organizational health, business risks and operational opportunities. Functional Oversight Lifecycle Management Lead the Product Lifecycle Management capability supporting both Regional Supply Chain Operations and Manufacturing Site Operations.

Oversee planning, prioritization and execution of post-approval lifecycle activities, including product changes, new presentations, SKU rationalizations, product discontinuations and regulatory-driven changes. Ensure effective coordination across manufacturing sites, regional organizations and global functions to deliver lifecycle changes safely, compliantly and on schedule.

Establish governance, portfolio visibility and resource prioritization across all lifecycle activities. Drive standardization of lifecycle management processes, methodologies and best practices across the global network.

Ensure consistent execution through performance management, capability development and continuous improvement. Artwork & Labeling Lead the Artwork & Labeling capability supporting both Manufacturing Site Operations and Regional Supply Chain organizations.

Oversee teams responsible for the compliant, timely and efficient execution of artwork creation, review, approval and implementation across Amgen's commercial portfolio. Ensure alignment of regional and site artwork activities with global artwork governance, operating standards, systems and best practices.

Foster a strong partnership with the Global Artwork Organization , which maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship with the Artwork & Labeling teams, to drive capability development, process harmonization and continuous improvement. Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Packaging, Quality and Commercial organizations to ensure successful implementation of labeling and packaging strategies.

Drive continuous improvement through standardization, digital enablement and operational excellence across the Artwork & Labeling capability. Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure quality, compliance, efficiency and service excellence.

People Leadership Lead and develop high-performing teams across Lifecycle Management and Artwork & Labeling. Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning and talent development.

Foster an inclusive, collaborative and high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. Empower managers and team members to drive ownership, informed decision-making and execution excellence.

Build strong partnerships across regions, manufacturing sites and global functions to enable effective collaboration and knowledge sharing. Functional Skills Must-Have Skills: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or a related discipline. 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Product Management, Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Operations or Commercial Operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Demonstrated experience leading managers and cross-functional organizations within a complex global matrix environment. Proven experience supporting both manufacturing operations and regional commercial supply chain organizations.

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical commercialization, lifecycle management, artwork implementation, regulatory change management and manufacturing operations. Proven track record of driving business transformation, process harmonization and operational excellence.

Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills with the ability to build alignment across diverse global stakeholders. Good-to-Have Skills: Experience leading Artwork & Labeling organizations.

Experience implementing digital transformation and automation initiatives. Knowledge of GMP, pharmaceutical quality systems and regulatory compliance.

Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).

Professional Certifications Preferred: Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field. Soft Skills: Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership, coaching and organizational development capabilities.

Ability to influence senior stakeholders across global matrix organizations. Strong change management and transformation leadership skills.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through complexity. High degree of initiative, accountability and customer focus.

Excellent planning, prioritization and decision-making capabilities. Collaborative leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement and capability building.
