Job Description Objective / Purpose : The Marketing Lead – Indonesia plays a key role in establishing and growing the BioLife brand in Indonesia during its early market entry and scale-up phase. This role is responsible for developing and executing local marketing plans that support awareness, donor acquisition, and retention across BioLife’s plasma centers.
Working closely with t local and global stakeholders, the Marketing Lead ensures that all local marketing activities are aligned with BioLife’s brand strategy and compliant with Takeda’s global standards. As BioLife is new to the Indonesian market, this role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach — balancing strategic thinking with strong operational execution in a fast-developing environment.

Approximately 5 – 10 bulleted task statements should be identified. 1. Market Entry & Brand Development (≈25%) • Adapt and implement BioLife’s global and regional brand strategies for the Indonesian market. • Lead local market launch activities, building brand awareness and trust among potential plasma donors and local communities. • Lead the development of BioLife brand and marketing materials to reflect BioLife’s global identity and values, while ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance. • Manage and maintain content for BioLife's owned channels (digital, social media, and in-center), keeping consistency with global brand while building community engagement and relevance within the local market. • Support new center openings, coordinating in-center branding and signage, awareness and lead-driving activities, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness to open. 2.
Marketing Execution (≈40%) • Devise, plan, and execute all marketing materials across paid and owned channels (digital, social, and traditional) to support donor education , recruitment, and retention. • Work closely with local agencies to manage creative, digital, and media activities, ensuring consistent brand representation and media budget performance and optimization. • Manage relationships with vendors and ensure high-quality and timely delivery of marketing assets. • Design and implement CRM and donor communication strategies to guide donors through the full donor journey — from awareness and registration to retention and referrals. • Use local data and feedback to refine donor experience and engagement initiatives. 3. Market Insights & Analytics (≈15%) • Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and donor feedback to identify growth opportunities. • Track real-time campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to key stakeholders. • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, inform strategy, and optimize marketing activities.
Job Description 4. Collaboration & Compliance (≈10%) • Collaborate with Global Marketing, Public Affairs, Legal, and Medical teams to ensure that all promotional materials meet regulatory and compliance standards. • Coordinate with the operations and HR teams to support local events, community outreach, and donor recruitment activities. 5.
Budget & Administration (≈10%) • Manage the local marketing budget efficiently and transparently, tying investment to business outcomes. • Support budget tracking, vendor payments, and reporting to regional finance and marketing teams. Education & Competencies (Technical and Behavioral): List the essential and desirable education and competency requirements to perform the primary responsibilities of the job.
Any minimum requirements should be noted. Professional Experience: • 5-10 years of progressive consumer marketing experience; experience in multi-unit retail strongly preferred. • Proven experience in executing marketing campaigns, managing agencies, and working with digital channels (paid media, social media, CRM, SEM/SEO). • Experience in setting up or growing brands in new markets is a strong advantage. • Knowledge of Indonesian consumer behavior and marketing landscape required. • Experience in multinational or matrix organizations preferred.
