
Leadership and Oversight:
Lead a team of Field Access Managers (FAMs), driving initiatives to foster a High Impact Culture.
Build and oversee key initiatives to improve the efficiency and impact of the FAM team with East counterpart
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the Rare Tumor community to address complex access and reimbursement challenges affecting patient journeys.
Strategic Input and Collaboration
Set strategic goals, KPIs, and coaching plans; translate market insights into actionable patient access strategies across payer, provider, and patient pathways, aligning with leadership and based on brand and PAS priorities
Design and implement innovative market access programs and services that address patient needs and elevate the support experience.
Serve as a key member of Field Access leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and cross-functional alignment.
Ensure Market Access/Value & Access partners appreciate the HCP/patient perspective and the implications of regional contract decisions.
Simplify processes and enhance standards within the FAM and Patient Access Solutions teams through data analysis and strategic insights.
Collaborate across functions and with other FAM leaders to identify and resolve barriers to patient access for EMD Serono Rare Tumor products.
Performance Management
Oversee team performance through feedback, coaching, and developmental assignments to build future leaders.
Create reporting dashboards to measure program performance and trends, aligning tactical plans with strategic access priorities.
Build and present reports containing insights, trends and performance to cross-functional leaders.
Stakeholder Engagement
Foster enthusiasm and commitment within the FAM team and among internal stakeholders towards aligned Patient Access Solutions strategies.
Act as a liaison between Field Access and HUB to ensure compliance and optimize the HCP and patient experience.
Identify professional societies and organizations to enhance field expertise and strengthen relationships in the Endocrinology therapeutic area.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sciences, or related fields.
10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 4 years in field reimbursement or market access.
Proven communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and improve patient/customer experiences.
Proficient in performance metrics design and reporting.
5+ years in specialty account management or managed care, with technical knowledge of drug coverage policies.
Experience in Rare Disease, including familiarity with Rare Tumors.
Launch experience
Reside within 90 minutes of a major airport in the territory.
Willingness to travel approximately 30-50% domestically, including overnight stays.
Ability to communicate openly and share information to foster trust while encouraging constructive debate, making informed decisions, and ensuring shared commitment to outcomes.
Demonstrated willingness to take risks and stand up for what is right while prioritizing the needs and experiences of customers and patients in all decisions.
Commitment to setting and reaching ambitious goals and setting high standards while acting in the best interest of the company and taking initiative to drive results.
Uphold ethical standards and being honest in all interactions.
Ability to streamlining processes to focus on what matters and creates impact and acting quickly to adapt to changes.
