Job summary
The Employee performs histopathological and biomarker assessment, participates in the validation of methods and instruments, effectively collaborates with laboratory and bioinformatics teams, and works on projects with pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions: generating scientific hypotheses, extracting biological insights from data, and presenting results to customers.
Review and evaluation of histological preparations stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E).
Tumor content estimation and identification of regions of interest for downstream analysis.
Assessment and interpretation of chromogenic immunohistochemistry (IHC); with training, participation in the evaluation of fluorescence-based methods (MxIF).
Evaluation of staining quality, signal adequacy, and recognition of analytical and technical artifacts.
Semi-quantitative and/or quantitative assessment of biomarker expression, where applicable.
Digital (image-based) analysis and correlation with manual assessment.
Participation in validation, verification, optimization, and quality control of staining (IHC/MxIF) and documentation of results.
Scientific hypotheses formulation and data analysis results interpretation.
Collaboration with laboratory and bioinformatics teams.
Compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory

Leading role in validation, optimization, and quality control.
Documentation development.
Mentoring junior team members.
Sponsor-facing communication.
Collaboration with laboratory leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and quality.
Medical degree with specialization in oncopathology.
3+ years of experience as an anatomic pathologist.
Strong, independent interpretation of immunohistochemical staining.
Ability to formulate conclusions based on international guidelines.
Willingness to learn MxIF analysis through real company projects.
Communication flexibility – ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences: stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams.
English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate or above.
