This Associate Business Systems Consultant will perform multiple rules:

Act as a Scrum Master for a multi-pod Agile team, coordinating SCRUM cadence and escalations across pods, in adherence with local Agile standards. This includes JIRA standards and documentation

Serve as a default point of contact for internal-to BTS stakeholders (i.e. BTS acting as ‘the business’) for assigned items

Implement and maintain tools used by the BTS team to enhance delivery capabilities, including reporting dashboards, documentation tools, code quality tools, etc.

Manage and provide expert advice on the selection, design, justification, implementation, and business use of information systems.

Analyze business processes; elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and make recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing technology components.

Translate business requirements into functional requirements; perform data and process modeling; manage change and lead, coordinate/perform testing, verification, and validation of requirements.

Responsibilities:

Elicit and communicate the organization’s business strategy; work directly with business unit and/or internal IT clients to understand specific business processes and needs and opportunities for improvement; identify IT capabilities and information required to support the business processes and collaborate in the development of appropriate information management strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy.

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

Identify current and emerging business needs and evaluate alternative technology solutions using standard information systems methodologies and best practices. Proactively seek out strategic business opportunities with business unit executives for the application of new or existing technology capabilities.

Develop technology strategies that meet the requirements of the business. Identify the business benefits of alternative strategies. Ensure compliance between business strategies and technology directions. Prepare testing plans to confirm that requirements and system design are accurate and complete.

Ally with other BTS functional areas to remain current on project status and inform customer management of progress; conversely, keep BTS managers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts.

Identify the impact of any relevant statutory, internal, or external regulations on the organization's use of information.

Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives of assignment. Has defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects. Establish organizational objectives and delegates assignments. Accountable for actions and decisions taken by self and subordinates.

Accountable for the accuracy of the fit of the proposed solution to the business needs and the information upon which the business justification and prioritization decisions are made. Also accountable for communicating the business needs and drivers to development groups to assure the implementation phase can fulfill the business needs.

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience; PhD with 0 years’ experience.

Respective years of demonstrated experience as a scrum master in an AI-enabled Infrastructure automation environment

Experience reporting business outcomes alongside project delivery roadmap, in both a backward-looking (performance/results) and future-looking (projections and expectations) time scale

Experience working with department-wide Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to standardize reporting cadences and adhere to corporate documentation standards while also enabling the delivery team

Demonstrated experience driving change across multiple scrum teams/pods in a scrum master capacity

Demonstrated ability to deliver tools useful to internal delivery team.

Preferred:

2+ years of experience as a scrum master in an AI-enabled Infrastructure automation environment

Familiarity with IT infrastructure, Pharma practices, and AbbVie specific practices a strong plus.

Strong bonus: Demonstrated ability to deliver working software using AI coding techniques.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
