Your Role
Builds and maintains long-term external relationships with a defined set of customers, increasing revenue spent per customer, identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities. Creates demand for the organization's products and services at the customer.
What You Do
- ✓Serve as the primary liaison for key chain pharmacies and key hospital accounts involved in cardiovascular metabolism product portfolios.
- ✓Develop and execute Key Account Business Plans that align customer priorities (e.g., patient management/education programs, screening programs) with company objectives.
- ✓Build long-term strategic partnerships through joint business planning, focusing on patient care solutions.
- ✓Achieve and exceed sales and growth targets for the assigned therapeutic portfolio across key accounts.
- ✓Negotiate contract terms, listing agreements, and value-added initiatives that support category expansion in chronic care areas.
- ✓Drive product performance visibility at retail and institutional levels through data analysis and execution excellence.
- ✓Partner with Marketing, Medical, and Supply Chain to ensure timely execution of campaigns, CME programs, and educational initiatives
- ✓Collaborate with Field Force and KAM teams to translate national brand strategy into localized account tactics.
- ✓Ensure alignment with Market Access, Regulatory and Compliance teams for pricing, product availability, and compliance with promotional guidelines.
- ✓Identify and implement value-added services with chain pharmacies and/or key hospitals/key institutions
- ✓Train and engage pharmacists on disease awareness, patient counselling, and adherence programs to improve therapeutic outcomes.
- ✓Foster multi-brand synergy within accounts, cross-leveraging cardiovascular and metabolism portfolios for stronger account positioning.
- ✓Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging healthcare models in chronic disease management.
- ✓Provide insightful business analytics to management — covering account performance, ROI of activities, and opportunity mapping.
- ✓Track program outcomes (e.g., number of screenings, conversion to prescriptions) to demonstrate value creation.
Who You Are
- ✓Tertiary level with science, paramedic, business or marketing background.
- ✓3- 5 years of Pharma sales experience.
- ✓Strong understanding of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, treatment guidelines, and patient management pathways.
- ✓Proven ability to manage key pharmacy and institutional accounts, negotiate contracts, and lead cross-functional collaborations.
- ✓Skilled in interpreting sales data, market share, and pharmacy sell-out trends to drive evidence-based decisions.
- ✓Focused on partnership value — delivering win–win outcomes for both company and customer.
- ✓Ability to balance commercial terms with strategic growth levers.
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills to engage pharmacists, procurement leads, and healthcare professionals.
