Position Summary
This position is accountable for DS&S Engineering scope in China. DS&S is the business that offers Specialty Gas Delivery Equipment/Specialty Chemical Delivery Equipment/Turnkey Installation of Gas/Chemical systems and Poly Flow products. Individual is expected to have technical design capability in order to be able to develop products for end customers.
- ✓In order to better capture the opportunities of LDS (Liquid Delivery System), the creation of a dedicated LDS Product Line has been decided. Within this product line, Product Engineer will have to develop, manage and maintain in term of technology, integration, reliability, and competitiveness.
- ✓With the fast pace of innovations in semiconductors, you must be able to interact with staff in all functions to meet customer requirement, enhance tool performance and improve quality.
- ✓We expect that you’ll collaborate, share and work as a team that partners closely with all stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- ✓Lead the development of new product in compliance with DS&S technology and safety standards:
Define the product strategy for the product development as per the market requirement.
In collaboration with Strategy Product Manager to ensure out portfolio remains innovative managing the opening and closing of the products.
Coordinate with Engineering Team to ensure the delivery in time and on budget of the products.
Ensure a proper risk management and respective mitigated action all along the Product life cycle.
- ✓Maintain the product during its lifecycle:
Ensure the continuous improvement of performance & competitiveness of the Products.
Maintain Product Technical referential: prepare and issue generic technical documents related to the Products, prepare and up-date the list of Product documents, maintain technical product documentation during development execution, maintain documents in engineering database.
- ✓Provide support:
Provide solution to commercial team during bidding phase and ensure the product mindset (sustainability/replicability).
Provide guidance and support to teammates to complete all assigned task.
- ✓Drive the deployment of the product:
During new prototyping and current product mass production, with the project manager executing the project and ensure that all deliverables are available at the end of the project and that the product is delivering its expected goals.

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
Education / Work Experience
- ✓Minimum Bachelor‘s Degree is required with background of Chemical engineering preferred, but related experience in lieu of education may also be considered.
- ✓5+ years of working experience in chemistry/gas industry and/or as product engineer.
- ✓Good written and oral English.
- ✓Experience in project engineering or product management (Must)
- ✓Experience in multinational and cross-functional communication (Nice to have)
- ✓Experience in Chemistry/Gas industry (Nice to have)
- ✓Good understanding of Engineering, Site work and Plant operation.
- ✓Experience in technical mechanical drawing and use of CAD tools.
- ✓Review P&ID diagram. (capable of P&ID design is plus)
- ✓Proficiency in Microsoft application for writing technical report and documentation of procedures, change control and technical specification.
- ✓Ability to provide guidance and support to teammates.
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
- ✓Positive mindset with creativity, good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- ✓Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
- ✓Preferably able to start work with short notice.
