As a Feasibility Informatics Manager , you will play a key role in our pre-award strategic feasibility activities , supporting global opportunities from the RFP and proposal stage through Bid Defense and eventual study award. Working closely with Business Development, proposal teams, therapeutic experts and operational stakeholders, you will evaluate study viability, identify potential delivery risks and develop evidence-based country, site and recruitment strategies. This role is particularly suited to someone with hands-on experience in strategic feasibility for global clinical trials at the pre-award stage who enjoys combining data analysis with operational strategy and client interaction.
What you will do You will lead and contribute to strategic feasibility activities supporting global proposals and sponsor opportunities, including: Developing evidence-based feasibility strategies during the pre-award/RFP stage for global clinical trials. Assessing protocol and study viability using internal performance data, external intelligence, epidemiology, patient population data and country/site insights. Translating feasibility data into clear country, site and patient recruitment recommendations .
Identifying potential operational and recruitment risks and developing alternative scenarios and mitigation strategies. Providing strategic feasibility input to Business Development and proposal teams , helping shape competitive and operationally realistic study solutions. Partnering with therapeutic, Site Identification, Study Start-Up, Patient Recruitment & Retention and other subject-matter experts to build integrated study strategies.
Supporting the development of proposal assumptions and operational strategy. Preparing for and participating in Bid Defense meetings , presenting feasibility strategy and recommendations directly to sponsors. Acting as a feasibility subject-matter expert during sponsor discussions and strategic partnership opportunities.
Ensuring that feasibility assumptions, intelligence, risks and strategies are effectively transitioned to Site Identification and operational teams following study award. Leading selected standalone feasibility projects and providing expert feasibility support to project teams, including rescue or change-in-scope situations. Supporting and guiding less experienced feasibility colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement of feasibility processes and approaches.
What you need We are particularly interested in candidates who bring: At least 3 years of relevant experience within clinical research/drug development . At least 2 years of hands-on strategic feasibility experience , including pre-award feasibility for global clinical studies . Strong experience analysing and interpreting feasibility data to develop country, site and recruitment strategies .
Understanding of the RFP/proposal process within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. Experience assessing study viability, operational risks, patient populations and country/site potential. Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations and compelling study strategies.
Confidence working cross-functionally with Business Development, clinical operations and other subject-matter experts. Strong communication and presentation skills; experience supporting sponsor meetings or Bid Defense activities would be highly valuable.
